We didn’t know we wanted to select sustainability as a travel niche as so many exist. One day, we joined a webinar and realized the entire hour presentation was everything we wrote on our “HBTT values” napkin, based on our own preference of travel and dreams for our business, of course. These values were shoulder season, avoiding tourist locations, offsetting emissions, corporate responsibiiity and more…we were sold, but really, it was meant to be.
